Finding the right OB can feel like a leap of faith, but from the moment I met Dr. Akiliah I felt completely at ease. She is truly exceptional. Her bedside manner is warm, reassuring, and genuinely compassionate. She took her time with us, listened to every concern, and explained everything in a way that made me feel empowered rather than overwhelmed. What stood out most was how present she was. Not rushed, not distracted, she was fully engaged, thoughtful, and made me feel like my pregnancy actually mattered to her. I left the appointment feeling calm, safe, and supported for the first time in a long time. I also appreciated how on top of things the office was and reaching out to me to come in for a 2nd HCG test to make sure the baby is progressing. If you’re looking for an OB who blends expertise with heart, someone who treats you like a whole person and not just another name on the schedule, I cannot recommend her enough. She is absolutely AMAZING and I’m so grateful we found her.

The physician that I see is knowledgeable and caring. The follow-up, including referrals, is always timely and useful. The process on the day of the appointment is efficient and cordial. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Telephone interaction is very good. Someone always answers calls and provides information within the limits of their knowledge. For me, the only downside is the paperwork prior to the appointment. There are a lot of forms, more than I am used to, and the automated messaging/emails prior to the appointment gets overwhelming. In-person/telephone interaction with the staff is much more pleasant.
