I was a new patient during my first pregnancy, and like many first-time moms, I was nervous — especially about starting with a new doctor at such an important time. From my very first visit, the entire office made me feel like family as I was growing my own. I felt like a person, never just a number.
Dr. Cockrum was amazing. She always took the time to answer my millions of (sometimes wild!) questions without ever making me feel rushed or silly. Her kindness, experience, expertise, and patience made all the difference.
Jessica was an absolute lifesaver after the hospital birthing class left me more confused than prepared — she provided so much comfort and clarity when I needed it most. Amanda and Heather, the nurses, were both so fun and caring. They made each visit something I actually looked forward to, which is no small feat during pregnancy!
Stacy, the ultrasound tech, was also such a bright light during my visits. Seeing my baby on the screen was already emotional and exciting, but Stacy made it even more special with her warmth and reassurance.
Appointments were always prompt, and when it came time for delivery and postpartum care, Dr. Cockrum was incredible. I felt supported and confident knowing she was by my side.
Even now, I love stopping by and showing off baby pictures to the front office ladies — they make it feel like visiting old friends.
